We were in a restaurant for dinner. The food was very good and interesting, but nothing was very surprising. The service is very professional and nice. The price was very high per person.

You can't beat the location of this hotel, at the north end of the old town - everything was within an easy walking distance, and even sights a bit further away were an easy flat walk through lovely streets.

The hotel was very clean and the room made up well. Staff were polite and efficient. Breakfast was excellent, with tons of choice and options changing a bit each day so you couldn't get bored.

We were disappointed with our room location which was on a corner so our view was a wall with very little natural light. We were also disappointed with the atmosphere - there is a 'lounge' and bar, but they are separate with the lounge in the cellar. We never saw any other guests using them, so they were uninviting and felt forgotten. That might be ok for some, but for the price paid I'd have expected more personality and buzz. Other hotels that we've paid similar money for also went out of their way to make you feel special (e.g. fruit in the room), but this felt like the bare minimum was provided.

Doesn't deserve 5 star.

1- Zero Safety! No security guards (even at night) and only 1 person working in reception.

2- Terrible housekeeping service ( I stayed 3 nights and no one come to clean the room) leaving the room almost 3 pm each day (and put clean my room sign) but no one make the room.

3- Booked a room overlooks a Lively pedestrian street for enjoying but the room's soundproof was poor, as people's voices and screams and the sound of music can be heard inside the room.

4- There is a stair (3 or 4 steps) between some Rooms corridors (uncomfortable for old people)

Notice: No free bottle of water, No Gym, Taxi can't come front of the hotel's door (need to walk a little bit).

We have already been to many hotels in Krakow over the years, each of them had its so-called positive and negative ;), but the discovery of the White Eagle Hotel ended our eternal search and only there and nowhere else!! Nowhere have we felt so taken care of, so welcome, so important... Starting from the reception, through the monsieur concierge, the restaurant and bar staff, the cleaning service, to the help in getting from the parking lot - everything is a great thing! And a golden one! On top of all this, beautifully furnished, comfortable rooms, both small and large, amenities for the elderly and the disabled (tel. in the bathrooms) and this peace with a view of the defensive walls and the beautifully restored branch of the National Museum! I miss it already, let alone we were there 2 weeks ago :))))))

I really appreciated having a double sink in the bathroom. The bathroom is spacious and spotless, and the room is absolutely gorgeous! You'll find a parking spot close by to park your car. We tried the pasta with porcini mushrooms – it's a real treat. The best part of the whole stay was the service. Every single member of the staff was amazing! Come here and enjoy the convenience of staying in one of Cracow's finest hotels. A big plus for allowing pets – made our stay much more enjoyable. I highly recommend it for a stay in Krakow! A beautiful atmospheric hotel in the center of the Old Town. The right choice for a weekend holiday. All attractions are a few minutes walk away. The hotel staff is smiling, helpful and well informed about current events in the city. Breakfasts are tasty, varied. Every day you can find something different. The staff takes care of cleanliness and filling of the plates. The room was not big, but very cozy, clean and with a beautiful view of Pijarska Street.

Can't get any better - it's right in the center of Cracow.

I stayed at the Hotel Polski under the White Eagle on June 5-6, 2024. The hotel is well located in the Old Town, enjoys good reviews, is a boutique hotel with unique, stylish room design. This made me decide to book this hotel.

In the "special wishes" addressed by phone directly to the Hotel Polski, I stipulated that the room should be available earlier, because at 4 p.m. I had to be at the business Gala at the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

I was firmly convinced that a hotel of this rank would fulfill this wish without any problem. This is by no means the experience I have with other 5* hotels. To my surprise, I was treated by a young receptionist as an intruder who appeared 2 hours before the room was made available, i.e. available as usual from 3:00 p.m. The receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. I had to ask about everything myself, including where I could wait for the room to be cleaned and which elevator I should take to the room where I could rest (the elevator I got into didn't go down).

Even the hotel manager did not react to my intervention, repeating like a barrel organ with an eastern accent that "guests are not received until 3:00 p.m." In the lounge downstairs, there were disgusting flies flying! I received the cleaned room only a quarter before 3:00 p.m., when I threatened to file a complaint with the owner of the hotel.

The rest of the staff, especially the morning restaurant staff, were very helpful and stubborn. However, there was a huge distaste associated with the inhospitable and unprofessional reception. Young people from the reception and the Manager should be directed to professional training in customer service, and above all in savoir vivre! This is good advice for the owner of the Hotel.

What good are luxuries if a guest who, by the way, paid a lot of money for accommodation feels unwelcome at the very entrance!

For business guests, I definitely do not recommend the 301 single room, because there is no comfortable desk for work. This is also a "small" drawback. Never ever this Hotel!

This is already one of my stays in this hotel and not the last. Not only the location is important here, although it is equally important, because it is close to everything, and yet it is relatively quiet and these beautiful views from the window to the defensive walls! Beautiful rooms, each in a different style and colors. The staff was nice and accommodating, despite the distant parking lot, the arrival and drop-off was without problems! Breakfasts are tasty, but for a longer stay, for such a standard of the hotel, quite monotonous... Next time I hope for more variety of dishes! Our hotel room was very small and quite outdated. In addition, it was unusually hot and the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. However, what makes up for that is the excellent staff at the hotel, especially Oskar, who gave great restaurant recommendations and even packed us breakfast to go on our early morning departure! The room was small but well appointed, sockets in all the right places. The decor was lovely. We had a twin room, but only one chair, so not so good. The breakfast was great and the staff in the breakfast room were pleasant and helpful. We asked if we could have a pot of coffee rather than the not so good machine coffee, but the kitchen does not accommodate this. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening.

The cleaning staff were first class, and friendly. The hotel was very clean.

The hotel is well located within the old town walls, by the Floriańska Gate, and very close to Sukennice and St Mary’s Basilica.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the reception staff were off-hand, and in one case positively rude and sarcastic. We speak Polish so we were rather taken aback by that.

My twin sister and I came to the hotel to celebrate a big birthday in Krakow where our late father was born, and we told the hotel when booking our stay, so we’re disappointed by this attitude, hence only four stars in this review.

Will I stay again? I’m not sure.

The ease of communication with the English-speaking staff was a definite highlight. From the moment we walked in, we felt a very welcoming atmosphere, with everyone being so nice.

Perhaps it was 5 star hotel during communist time but does not deserve more than 2 to 3 stars today.

Regular rooms are small, decorated with cheap reproductions, trying to make the rooms and the hotel look elegant and antic but fails, used up furniture, mold in our bathroom, rusty curtain bar in the bathroom, and view at the garbage cans in the back. Carpets are worn out, only instant coffee and cheap tea in the rooms.

This is the best 5 star hotel for the money one can afford in the old Krakòw. Best location, close to the main bus and railroad station as well as the main mall in the city, very quiet place next to the old defense wall in comparison to the other hotels in the old town and very high quality service and food. We were so glad we stayed at this hotel. It is close to the railway station and an easy walk to market square. It is also next door to the excellent Czartoryski Museum-overall the best art museum in Krakow. The receptionist was friendly and helpful because, since we arrived early, we stored our luggage at the hotel before the room was ready. The room was beautiful, spacious, lovely furnishings and colorful pictures, and the view toward the city wall was very picturesque. In the morning, we had a delightful breakfast at the hotel. There was a pleasant sitting and reading room downstairs from the lobby that we only visited for a short time but would have been welcome on a longer stay. This wonderful convenient hotel in a delightful city made our visit memorable.

good morning, as I was able to report to the reception (very friendly people) I had a bad stay in your hotel (which I carefully chose) as it was impossible to rest well inside the room due to the heat and the non-functioning of the air conditioning, I returned to work very tired and disappointed, the breakfast lacks any information on foods, there is no vegetable milk, fresh varieties of bread and vegetables. It's not a 5-star treatment, but a 3-star one. best regards

First, the staff was fabulous. Excellent English, and jumping from behind the counter to be helpful (more that once!). Room view meh, but it was well appointed, temp control was easy. There is a little bar with the restaurant, but they will be happy to bring a drink down to a very plush lounge downstairs. Really close to great food, and the museum next door is pretty good. Very reasonable room rate, breakfast is nice. They are happy to book transport to the airport and other sites. Great place, would stay here again.
