Called this company to have a lock rekeyed after a tenant move out. They were fast and courteous. The technician who arrived was super friendly. I will be using them again.

We called Faster Locksmith via a Google search at 10pm one night when we were locked out of our bedroom. Reza came in about 20 minutes to help us. I learned he is owner of the company and his technician was temporarily at a different location-- what an enterprising and hardworking young man Reza is ! He was very informative and explained our options before he started work. He was able to help us and his work was very reasonably priced.

In an emergency, when emotions are high, we've never experienced better service. I also asked him what other services he provides as I was so impressed with his craftsmanship and speed. He helped us immediately by fixing another broken lock in the house and giving me a quote to replace our garage door. We will definitely be recommending him and using his services in the future.

I needed emergency locksmith service on a Sunday as I had lost my keys. After calling 4 other locksmiths 2 of them were no shows and the other 2 that did show up were handyman's pretending to be locksmiths trying to take me for a ride/scam me. The pretend locksmiths did not even attempt to pick the lock and immediately said we have to drill or break the door open with a airjack then replace with new hardware. I made it clear to them I did not want destructive solutions when I was on the phone with them and even showed them pictures of my lock prior to them coming. But they still forced this bogus solution on me.

After sending these scammers on their way, I decided to call Marc at faster locksmith. He promptly was on his way over even on a Sunday. Fortunately I found my keys but Marc was already on his way over. I told Marc I was very sorry and I had found my keys, and Marc was very happy for me and did not even charge me a service fee as he did not arrive yet. I still gave Marc a tip as it did cost him his time. Marc very reluctantly accepted my gesture as he truly cares about his business and reputation.

My husband was really skeptical about using a locksmith service for our garage door, but I found Faster Locksmith online and decided to give them a try. They quoted me a reasonable price fixed my garage door no problem. I highly recommend them!

My lock appeared to be broken today,. I could not turn the key in it and it had been rather stiff for awhile. So I called for a locksmith. I was very impressed with the smith and the service and would call this company again if I ever have need.

Thanks to traffic and distance it took about an hour for him to arrive and while it would have been great if it had been less time, I have no complaint about this. Traffic can be a problem anytime, anywhere, but I was pleased to get a phone call telling me it was taking longer than he’d expected to get to me, which was much appreciated, and he arrived within a minute of the ETA he gave me when he called.

He turned out to be young, cute, very charming and very polite and he especially impressed me with his approach and work ethic. I could not have asked for anything more or better than I received.

When he was not able to get the key to function in the lock, he did not immediately say the lock had to be drilled out, which is quite expensive;.. He said it might need to be drilled out, and told me how much that would cost, but he’d try some lock lubricant first and it was very rewarding when the lubricant did the trick and the key worked.

I was thinking at the time that I’d had this lock about 30 years but in fact it’s been in service for 35 years now, give or take a few months. It was a Medeco high security lock and it had served well and it turns out that it wasn’t broken. It was old and gummed up.

It would have been possible for him to take it apart, clean it up and put it back on the door, but given how old it is and that it could not be guaranteed to remain in working condition for a long time to come, . I chose not to pay for the repair. I chose to get a new high security lock instead. It was expensive because such locks are not cheap, but the peace of mind is worth it.

There was no pressure to make either choice and if I’d chosen to get the old one fixed I have no doubt he’d have done a nice job getting the old one into good order again. The choice to replace was mine.

It didn’t take too much time to install the new lock once he got the old one off, which wasn’t too easy. I was thinking while he worked on that that if even a locksmith had trouble on the INSIDE of the door getting the old lock off, it must have been a very good lock and I did get 35 years of service out of it. While he was working, we had a very nice conversation.

When the new lock was installed, he did a couple more simple little things and one of the things he did made a major improvement in the function of the door overall. He had noticed the door was loose in the frame and it has rattled when the wind blows for years.

An adjustment to the strike plate that took about a second to do resulted in the door being very secure in the door frame again.. It wouldn’t have occureed to me even to ask about that, so I was very pleases with this thoughtful touch.

He also tightened up loose screws on the faceplate of the original door lock. The security lock is an additional one, not the only one.

He showed me how the key worked in the new lock, as it did not work in the same way as my old lock did and made sure it was working, and that I was having no problem using the key, before he started to pack up..

I wish I had not had to buy a new lock but I could not possibly be more pleased with this locksmith or the quality of his work and it was a pleasure chatting with him while he worked.

I’d happily have given 10 out of 10 for the service and the charming locksmith too, but 5 stars seems to be the limit, so 5 stars it is.
