⛰️ ⛰️ ⛰️

If you love distant walking/climbing with some of the UK’s best views with a challenge then this is for you.

📍 Pen-y-Ghent 694m

📍 Whernside 736m

📍 Ingleborough 724m

The terrain can be challenging in areas especially when climbing the actual peaks ⛰️

Ensure you take plenty water/fluids and some energy foods with you.

To give you peace of mind it’s doable, I badly broke my Pelvis back in April 2023 and complete the 3 peaks in March 2024.

I have attached plenty video’s & pictures to give you an understanding of the condition in March. We set off at 5:45am and took a total of 7 hours 20 minuets to complete the circuit.

I am not sure if this is a good or bad time, it was a leisurely walk whilst observing the stunning views of the amazing Yorkshire Dales with a sweat on

You can climb the peaks individually if you choose so you don’t have to do all 3 in the same day.

Overall, a challenge yet rewarding walk with unforgettable views. Definitely recommended

Wow! What a fantastic way to spend a Monday morning. Our students were mesmerised by the stories of perseverance and resilience to summit Everest and complete the Marathon des Sables. The messages that failure is part of the learning journey and anything is possible couldnt have been clearer. Couldnt recommend Ricky highly enough

All of our pupils, from Nursery to Primary 7, absolutely loved hearing Ricky's presentation on reaching the summit of Mount Everest. They all found him very inspiring and a number of them have already told me that they want to climb Everest one day. His positivity, especially after getting so close to the summit on his first attempt, really shone through.

Ricky delivered his inspiring talk at King's Park Secondary School awards ceremony. He has a great story to tell that links to our motto of Believe Achieve. The audience were riveted with his story of the ascent of Mount Everest. Thank you Ricky

You could literally hear a pin drop as our P4-7 pupils listened with complete fascination to Ricky's amazing, inspirational adventure proving that determination and never giving up helps achieve dreams. We absolutely loved having you visit and was amazing to see how engaged and how inquisitive our pupils were with your adventures. You never know, you may have inspired the next future generation of explorers! Thank you and we hope to see you again soon.

Ricky is an excellent speaker who speaks from the heart and shares his life experiences with clarity and inspiration. Ricky held a talk at our local primary school which motivated and inspired pupils to follow their passion and develop inner resilience. I would highly recommend Inspire Alpine and Ricky Munday.

Highly recommended! Came to visit us here at Thomas Clarkson Academy - A very challenging school in a deprived area. Students engaged with his experiences and got them thinking about their own challenges and life goals. Thank you for your visit! See you soon

A wonderful inspirational talk which our pupils loved. They were buzzing with excitement afterwards! There were so many questions that we ran out of time - will need to arrange another visit in the future. Thank you for coming to visit Ricky!

Ricky spoke to an audience at his former rugby cub and I was lucky enough to hear his story. It was captivating listening to how he had navigated his way through his younger years, where he was searching for a sense of purpose, to then hear how he navigated the highest peak on Earth. A truly inspirational story, delivered from a genuine and aprpoachable guy. His ability too tell his amazing story and connect with the auidience will allow him to inspire many for years to come. I could not recommend him enough.

Ricky visited his old club Glasgow Hawks yesterday and gave a presentation pre match before Scottish Premiership match v Watsonians at Balgray

It was truly inspiring but it was just what we would expect from Ricky

His presentation holds so many lessons for those who want to tackle their own Everest what every level that may be

He opens up on his own personal challenges from early life challenges that so many can identify with even if they do not aspire to climb Everest

From all at your old club Ricky well done we really enjoyed your journey and there are so many lessons in there for everyday life

Your pupils will grow socially and emotionally as a result of hearing Ricky speak.

They will realise that the world is there for them to explore and that they should strive to work hard and achieve their goals because the emotional well being of success is something you can’t buy. You have to work for it.

Just like Ricky has.

Ricky guided our group of 12 (mixed age and ability) to complete Ben Nevis last Friday, as the first mountain in our 3 peaks challenge. As a last minute stand in for a tour guide that was sick, he did a fantastic job ensuring he knew everyone by name and quickly sussed out who was going to need the most support. He is incredibly friendly and encouraging, and probably the most modest person I’ve yet to meet! He even shared his sandwich with a very hungry and underprepared young lady What was also lovely is that he made sure to take a few photos along the way; we were heads down focusing on the challenge ahead and so hardly took in the beautiful scenery around us. This is so so appreciated as now we have something that illustrate our journey to friends and family. I couldn’t recommend him more - as a guide or as a motivational speaker.

Ricky and I were both Polar ambassadors for the Polar Explorer Programme for primary schools and spoke at an event celebrating a successful first year of the project. Ricky captivated the audience of professional ambassadors and teachers with his life story, adventures, challenges and set backs. We were totally absorbed and fascinated by his presentation. I would encourage any organisation wishing to inspire young people to invite Ricky to address their group.

Wonderful talk to a group of P4-P7s - potentially a tough audience! They listened the whole way through and had so many questions they stayed past the lunch bell.

An engaging and inspiring talk. The pupils particularly loved trying on the gear. Rick was approachable and helped show the kids what can be achieved through hard work. Hopefully he was talking to some adventurers of the future! A completely different experience for our children to hear about, helping them see beyond their surroundings. Thanks for coming to see us!

Ricky has an amazing ability to relate to the achievable through his great significant experiences to those who are beginning to dare to dream. A real life of experiences for people to draw upon and inspire them on their journey. Thanks Ricky!

An inspiration - both as a speaker and as a fellow human being. Great stories, factual and informative but pitched appropriate for the audience.

So pleased you finally made it to the top of Everest - cant wait for the next talk to hear all about it. From Bernie and Philippa at NERC
