I reported the issue in writing and then by phone using the contact information provided on the website. During the phone handling, I had to wait a lot, and then the customer service representative condescendingly informed me that they are only responsible for the stores in Hungary, and they have no influence on the operation of the online network. Interestingly, they were aware of the steps to take in case of a complaint, and then condescendingly asked why I didn't inform myself about the options before placing the order... as if the customer wants to order just to complain... I chose that reputable company in good faith, in which I trusted. Shortly after, another colleague responded in writing. They stated that they looked into it and the jersey was dirty, so it had to be washed before shipping. This could be causing the smell... Of course, they pointed out that they do not accept returns of used products. This was funny because with such a smell, I couldn't even properly try it on! Referring to the responsible colleague, they offered a 15% discount. After sharing my opinions, the Hungarian marketing and commercial manager contacted me and offered their help and said they would call me when they receive a response from the Polish headquarters. This has not happened since. The only substantial response was that they would refund the shipping cost in case of a return... terribly weak customer management.
