The hotel is very nice and we have been coming to you for many years. We noticed that the cleanliness in the bathroom/toilet has really declined. It was particularly noticeable when you look at the bathroom with UV light. By chance, we had such a flashlight with us. But that was the last evening when we saw it. If you had seen it, you would stumble over it too (Room 1515 and 1517). - Try it out- dark and illuminate with UV light. We would still like to come back. All the best until next year. We have always relied on honest and, when booking directly, affordable prices. This time there were so many offers with different prices 🤯 Of course, for the same period. Then we don't like that no separate floors are assigned for dogs. I find it unhygienic when small babies and dogs play on the same carpeted floor. Whereby the cleaning is a bit lacking. During a 5-day stay, it was cleaned only once upon request. There was just one cleaning lady, who naturally couldn't manage everything. The playroom has become boring for the kids. Maybe a small redesign would be timely. The food was also not as good as we are used to from Senator. Even the a la carte restaurant was bad. We had to switch to Havet Lubczyk. The new dining room is too big. Partitions might help. We felt that savings were being made at every corner at the expense of quality. Hope it was just because of the time, right after Easter, and next time we will get the usual standard. Overall, with naturally better service, a maximum of 4 stars. Best regards

We were very satisfied with the hotel overall. However, there are 2 things that bothered us a bit.

1.) The bathwater in the pool area was heavily chlorinated, causing our eyes to tear up, even though we were just sitting on the lounge chairs and not in the water itself. This caused severe skin irritation for me and my son.

2.) In the children's play area, unfortunately, many things are broken. Whether it's the plastic play tower with a slide (which was only attempted to be fixed with packing tape and has partly been torn off again). Or the slide itself has a crack. Then the big climbing tower has torn PVC and the cable ties of the cushions were attached in such a way that there is also a risk of injury...

Nevertheless, we were satisfied, everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful in the new building and the food was very delicious and there was a wide selection.

We definitely won't be visiting for the last time.

The catering could be better

We have been happily returning to the Senator Hotel for 8 years now 👍️

This stay was disappointing. We have been coming to this hotel for years and have been very satisfied so far. This time I booked a standard room, I thought it would be enough for just me. But this room was old and worn out. Several light switches didn't work, neither did the bathroom heater. The beds and sanitary facilities were clean. The curtains were partly torn and dirty. Upon my request, I was given another room, the heating worked, but the rest remained unchanged. Very unfortunate.

We have been coming to Hotel Senator for 15 years and are as always very satisfied with all the services of the hotel!

I find everything in the hotel great, only the price increase this year is really too high. We have been coming back for many years, but such prices are enormous.

We have been to the hotel several times already. It has been renovated a lot. The bowling alley is great and a lot of fun. Especially the bumpers for children so they can't throw gutter balls were an absolute highlight!

The food has improved compared to previous years. Only the combination of smoke detectors and live cooking doesn't seem to be quite harmonious yet ;-) When the fire alarm went off while cooking steak, even the staff didn't know what to do. They should have another training session on that.

Only real criticism: The ladies at the reception were sometimes very unfriendly and arrogant. Honestly, I don't know why. But with every question, you felt like you were bothering the ladies and left with an uneasy feeling. They completely ignored my daughter. That really needs to improve! Luckily, we had few questions.

We have been guests at your hotel several times. We have always enjoyed it. This year it was just too crowded. In the new dining room, you can hardly move because of so many guests. This also makes the noise level very high. We would like to praise your staff, always friendly and courteous. M. Mundt

A fantastic family hotel. Unexcited and cozy. Great location for walks and beautiful swimming pool.

The hotel is really great, definitely not very cheap, but what is offered there, especially the cuisine and the rooms with very comfortable beds, are remarkable. There were different main courses and a huge selection of salads, fish, meat, sausages, cheese, cereals, every day at the buffet for breakfast and dinner, you can't try everything. We were there from Christmas to the New Year's Eve ball. Here too, there was an excellent menu and afterwards a buffet with oysters and tartare.

So once again, a huge praise to the kitchen and the many very friendly helpers. You gladly give a good tip there.

What I didn't like as much was that instead of a live band like in previous years, there was only a solo entertainer, unfortunately they saved a lot of money there.

We used the spa area and the large swimming pool daily. It would be nice if it could be renovated, and personally, I missed a staircase or ladder to the deep end of the pool.

Room, swimming pool, service very good.

We had a great New Year's Eve party. Everything was very well organized, from the decoration to the service, the delicious menus and buffet, to the evening program. Friendly staff.

The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired.

The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and well-maintained.

There were plenty of parking spaces available.

The beach is just a stone's throw away.

We will gladly come back.

The standard double room had some deficiencies and was worn out, but the pool and saunas are great, the food was delicious and the location on the beach in the forest was fantastic.

During our last stay we were a bit disappointed that we were not informed beforehand or upon arrival that the indoor playground was closed off and unusable. For vegetarians, the food buffet often offers little choice. We love the swimming pool/sauna and feel very comfortable in the Hotel Senator and would love to come back.

I found it a shame that many areas in the hotel were closed due to renovation work (e.g. the indoor playground) and therefore could not be used. And yet the full amount was demanded and I was not accommodated for reasons of goodwill. In addition, the service staff in the restaurant were hardly available, especially at dinner. The food was delicious. Unfortunately it was rarely refilled. The beds in my room were made but the bathroom mirror was not cleaned of toothpaste and water splashes. I would have thought it would be nice to look into a cleaned mirror. I think you can do better.

We drive completely satisfied.

Suggestion: I would also like other desserts than just cake.
