The hotel is in the heart of the Old Town in Gdańsk, close to pubs and nice restaurants. Very tasty meals, it's worth adding breakfast as they are really substantial. Perfect cleanliness. The rooms are spacious, bright, and with access to balconies.👍️

The hotel is clean, well-maintained, modern. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter at all when the staff is unfriendly. We came to relax with four teenagers. At check-in, we were informed that dinner is until 18:00 and the pool until 22:00, so we planned our time so that the kids could combine a walk, then dinner, and finally relax in the pool. So, we went to the pool just before 20:00, managed to enter and start having fun, when a lady from the relaxation zone came to ask us to leave the pool because it is open until 20:00 for children. She threatened to call security after I said that I received different information when paying for the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, great location. And that's the only positive point... Room: quite small, nice little balcony, poor quality sheets, terrible pillows, soft and small. Pool: sauna way too hot for its size, 90° for 3 m3 The steam room, likewise very small. Pool quite warm though The fact of having to leave a card to be able to get a bathrobe and exchange it before leaving, otherwise the hotel charges for the bathrobe... what trust!! The breakfast, overpriced at 25 euros for the little on offer at the buffet, not worthy of a 4* The welcome... the bare minimum! In summary, I will not return, too expensive compared to the services.

The staff is not overwhelming. Quiet hotel in the city center. Large parking lot. Good location, easy access. Polite reception. Modest but pleasant pool. After 8 p.m., access to the pool is only for adults. For children, there is a corner, pool accessories, for adults a spa area, massages, sauna. Breakfast has a decent selection, although at this price and standard of the hotel, I have had better. Many items from the menu seemed 'leftovers'. I have one comment about the breakfast service lady (the one with an accent) who was very impolite, the situation was saved by a nice lady dressed all in black (I suspect she was the floor manager/shift supervisor). 1.5 hours before the end of breakfast, the rice ran out, the lady just said there wasn't any and won't be any. The lady in black outfit saved the situation and pointed out that the missing dishes should be replenished, to which the lady with an accent reacted annoyed 'I said there isn't any, end of story' and then shook her shoulders in outrage. I am outraged by this attitude for several reasons:

- first of all, it was in the middle of breakfast time

- secondly, there is information that the kitchen can prepare a dish if the ingredients are available

- thirdly, this lady should realize that she works in customer service, which requires personal culture, not servility, but just good manners.

As a customer who booked 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 children, who didn't eat much, I feel discouraged to order breakfast during another stay. For this considerable amount of money, I can eat what I and the children want in a nicer atmosphere, without listening to complaints from a frustrated waitress. As a young student, I myself worked in a hotel and NEVER allowed myself to have a sour face or make an unpleasant comment towards a guest.

A hotel is a place of relaxation and that is what I expect during my stay. Not intrusiveness, but help, assistance, and fulfilling the promises that the place offers.

Hotel Grano has an amazing location, literally across, 5 min walk from Gdansk old town and main tourist sites. It's located on a Motlawa river island, in a series of new built apartment blocks.

Lobby is nice, modern with friendly staff and fast check in.

Across the main entrance is a big free parking lot, however be careful as its unpaved with lot of potholes.

Hotel is brand new with spacious rooms with terrific modern design and decorations. Bathroom is spectacular with high end sanitary ware and perfect design (trust me, as it's my profession).

Pool area is perfect, open 7 AM to 10 PM, also nicely decorated in dark colors with great lightning. There's a fair size heated pool (very pleasant to swim), hot tub attached to it and sauna. Bathrobe is provided with a special card you must return when checking out.

Breakfast is excellent, served till 10.30 AM

Quite loud outside the window However, it is a great location just a few steps from the granary.

I would highly recommend this hotel. I booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband’s 50th birthday. I messaged the hotel in advance asking if it would be possible to have a balcony with it being a special occasion. We arrived early which meant our room wasn’t ready. We were allowed to leave our luggage safely whilst we went exploring. When we arrived back at the hotel our room was ready. We were thrilled as we had been given a room with a balcony. The room was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. It had tea and coffee making facilities. It had a fridge with complimentary water. The hotel reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was spotless. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked beautiful. The spa facilities were fabulous, however we did feel the girls working in the spa could have been a little more pro active. We felt like we were putting them out asking for anything. Our three night stay was just so lovely. The location of the hotel is also perfect. As it’s within a five minute walking distance to the old town.

The friendly and courteous staff made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. There was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere of team work.

In the room there is no cabinet or drawer to put small items, the same in the bathroom - no shelf for cosmetics, no makeup mirror, with such lighting it would be a great convenience. On the plus side, blackout curtains and a very comfortable bed, as well as pleasant bedding. The pool is rather for fun than for swimming, quite small and with warm water. A big plus for the parking. What is definitely unacceptable is the kitchen. We used the Easter offer with meals, unfortunately a disaster - two types of meat but both pork, the next day sausage and beef also only red meat, the festive Easter breakfast is a stretch to say the least, the same was on Tuesday on the day of our departure, and those crumpled paper napkins, a lot to write about, etc. The second day of Easter dinner was from the menu and here was a nice surprise - the chef can only cook something decent for the holidays for the masses. I definitely do not recommend the offer with meals.

It's not worth staying, nice location, but strict company policy. For example, "you can't smoke on the balcony," there is a sign that says 3000 PLN for smoking. The desk agent (Pavel) was unhelpful. He wouldn't answer any additional questions.

Quite uncomfortable bed. Poor quality bedding. I had the impression that it was made of synthetic fibers and it was not a pleasant feeling.

The shower was poorly built and during the bath, all the water flowed out from under it, flowing freely outside the bathroom instead of draining. Unfortunately, it was necessary to block this stream with towels. The whole floor was wet. One big flood.

I recommend wholeheartedly, despite concerns whether it will be good, a pleasant surprise, service, cleanliness, location, rooms (just room 112 has small windows, the only downside) breakfasts insanely good, large selection, even champagne (prosecco) and spa... large pool, warm water, great jacuzzi, dry sauna, wet scented sauna, after 8 pm no children allowed which is a plus, towels and bathrobes available.. very successful stay.. besides, the Easter breakfast is already mega with sour rye soup, white sausage, bigos, eggs, homemade cold cuts, cakes..
