Delivery went to the wrong address, by the time I found which neighbour had it, the koeksisters were stale. I was told that I would be sent fresh koeksisters on the next Monday. It's Saturday after that Monday and still nothing. Billtong and dry wors were good.

The packaging and delivery were good. The droewors is very good. I like the flavour of the Kalahari Biltong but found it very oily and my first packet had a lot of inedible pieces. I asked for moist as I dont like dry biltong but the packets seems to have a liquid residue at the bottom. Could be due to the recent heat.

Flavour wise I cant fault the products at all. I will try some of the other packets in due course

I had ordered some Droe wors and gave s0ome to South African friendsw. They were all very impressed. In fact, they were so impressed, one friend wanted some biltong to take to his parents in Netherlands. As he was flying in a couple of days, I contacted Billytong and Richard kindly helped me, advising which flavours were immediatly available and was able to get it to me before my friend flew. 5 star service all round, from flavour all the way to customer service.

I got 3kg of biltong recently - and after that I think what I need is about 30kg to keep me sated! Part of me wants to go into debt just to buy more and more of the stuff! I took some to a church event where we were sharing our food, and my table had 4 people from around Namibia/South Africa/Zimbabwe, and when they tasted some of the original 'wet and fatty', they were so overjoyed! They loved it!!! If that's not a good sign of quality biltong, I don't know what is. I lost track of how many times I was asked where I got it from, and hopefully they've since become customers too!

Also if you're used to the British take on peri-peri, i.e. a very very mild 'kick' - which I still like, but I refrain from calling spicy - the peri-peri Biltong will decimate you. Absolutely deadly stuff. The only thing that will be in your mind other than 'Oh **** this is spicier than I expected' is 'This is absolutely delicious'.

I love the biltong I get but this last order is a bit dry, I know its "dry wors" but its very dry, the wet and fatty biltong is usually still pink, this lot was more medium/well (for want of a better description) so to be honest I'm a bit disappointed with this last batch.

Order droe wors from them. What arrived was my favourite. Lots of flavour and dried to perfection without being to tough. I have ordered from other places and find it often very chewy at times. Billytong's Dry wors fantastic. Definitely ordering again.
